Lexi's Birthday

ok so first off i don't feel like it's been long enough since she's been born. it doesn't feel like it's been 2 years. she is such a wonderful little girl i have loved every minute of life with her since she has joined our family. she is so stinkin hilarious ALL THE TIME it makes life so much more fun. well we had everyone over to my moms house on her birthday (the 25th) and had pizza and opened presents. she got some really fun stuff. we got her a "big girl bed" sheet and comforter set (which we wont get to use for a little while cuz we bought a toddler bed for $25 but that's beside the point.) you can kind of see it in one of the pictures below... she also got a Mr. Potato Head which she has named Mr. Funny Head. and she got a couple puzzles and a SUPER CUTE little framed scrapbook page that Carrie made for her. oh, and the Jackson's got something for her i didn't even think about...... she got some princess dress up clothes and LOVES THEM. if she finds it she has to wear it and gets mad at me when i try to take them off. its so stinkin cute. i wish we would have been video taping her when she tryed it on for the first time cuz as soon as we put it on her she screamed LOOK AT ME!!! it was absolutely the funniest thing i think shes ever done. she was totally serious too. she wanted everyone there to see how beautiful of a princess she was. she had a lot of fun at the party and got some really cute stuff. and of course theres blowing out the (cuz i was a scatter brain and didn't bring cake mix) the birthday brownie! she thought she was supposed to evedentally spit the candle out but finally she got how to do it and did it in one blow. in the picture at the bottom you can kind of see her spit flying past the candle. thought that was kind of funny.

Our crazy little life!!!

OK so its been over a month since I've blogged and i apologize. it's just been kind of crazy. OK so I'll start from the last time i blogged. well we are still trying to potty train and shes getting better and better each day. even more crazy than her potty training is the fact that she'll be 2 TOMORROW!!!! I'm so excited. these past 2 years seem to have just flown by! Spencer is doing good, hes trying to get on the corrections department so keep your fingers crossed for us. as for me?!? where do i start. i am not at super cuts anymore. i am sad to not be working in a salon anymore but i am very happy at my new job. i still plan on doing hair on the side and whenever possible so i can keep up on my skills. [so if you need your hair done and you would like me to do it at your house or mine call me ;-) ] as far as my new job i work for Gorenter.com as a scanner/file clerk/whatever else needs to get done girl ;-) . it is kind of different working with mostly family, plus the fact that the most staff I've ever worked with was 6 other girls. so 1. having guys working with me and 2. having that many peoples names to remember is something I've had to adjust to. i really enjoy where i work and everyone there. OH OH OH and I'm A PROUD AUNTIE OF LITTLE RYLEN CLEA CHRISTIANSEN!!! autumn had her baby yesterday around noon she weighs 6lbs 5oz and was 18 in. long. she's so stinking cute i cant wait to see her at Christmas time! well i think that's everything. if i don't blog before then everyone have a happy Halloween!!!

A Very Proud Mommy

It's kind of funny but i have never been so excited about someone going potty on the toilet in my life!!! Yesterday me and Spencer both had the day off but while he was at the gym Lexi decided to go hide in the vanity area and try to poop in peace. When i found her a minute later she says "Mommy I'm Pooping" so i got her on the potty as fast as i could and closed the door a little bit so she could have her privacy and SHE WENT POOP ON THE BIG GIRL POTTY!!! I was so proud... like i said before, its silly for being proud of poop but I'm proud of her. After that every time i took her to go potty she went! She has also gone both times i took her today!!! I think her problem before was that i would sit next to her and try to kind of cheer her on but i think she doesn't like to be watched while shes on the potty. It seems to be working so lets hope she stays on the right track. I'm so proud and so happy that soon we won't have to deal with diapers anymore!!! HOORAY!!!

POTTY TRAINING

So yesterday we're just hanging out at home and lexi comes up to me and starts saying "go potty? go potty?" so we took her to the potty. she was a litttle scared cuz we dont have one of those training potty seat things so i think she was scared she would fall in or something. she didn't go, which wasnt a bad thing, but i was just surprised she came up to me and asked me. she did that 2 more times yesterday so i think we're going to start trying to potty training her. if anyone has any good tip or tricks on potty training little girls please let me know.

Job Update

hey everyone the construction on the store isn't going as planned so i'll let you know when it opens. we're hoping by the end of this week beginning of next week. we are doing a soft opening whenever it's done but the grand opening is august 1st.

A Forever Family

Just as an F.Y.I. for everyone who didn't know me, spencer, and lexi are being sealed together this saturday. The endowment session is at 9 for anyone who would like to come. LEXI'S 1 YEAR OLD!!!!

Over the weekend we threw Lexi a big birthday party. a lot of our family showed up and it was a blast!!! of course we had chocolate cake for her to make a mess with, she got some really cool toys and have fun with her aunts and uncle and grandparents that came in from out of town. she also got blessed on sunday but we forgot to take pictures so once my in-laws send them to me i will post them.

Spencers Big Project

here is a few pictures of our pet bearded dragon. he also build a tank for him all by himself. its pretty big but its so much easier to clean and get Harley in and out of. eventually we will do something to the inside to make it look more like his natural habitat. but for now its pretty plain

hey everyone sorry i havent posted in a while ive been so busy with work and just other things that have been going on. she is now eating baby food and is starting to be able to sit up for a few seconds on her own. she also is rolling all over the place. as soon as i find out how to upload videos on here i will load one of her first bites of food and one of her rolling over in her crib. but for everyone who has been on my back here are some of our most recent pictures of her.
